Expression of Interest Now Open
Perth Water Polo is now inviting Expressions of Interest from U14 & U17 players (born between 2009 - 2015) interested in participating in the 2026 KAP7 Canberra Cup.
Tournament Dates: Friday 6th November, Saturday 7th November & Sunday 8th November 2026
Travel Dates: Friday 6th November (am) - Sunday 8th November (pm)

The first wave of Expressions of Interest is open to all eligible players across Western Australia, providing athletes from all clubs, academies and regions the opportunity to come together, train, compete, and build connections with other like-minded athletes within the WA water polo community.
This program has been created to compliment existing club pathways and provide athletes with opportunities to:
- Train and compete alongside players from different clubs
- Experience alternative coaching styles and team environments
- Continue developing their water polo skills in a high-performance setting
- Participate in interstate competition and touring experiences
- Build friendships, confidence, and exposure to broader water polo opportunities
Coaches will also be selected through an Expression of Interest process and, where available, will work with the team in the lead-up to the tournament through weekly training sessions and preparation activities.
The tour package is anticipated to include:
- Return flights
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Tournament nomination fees
- Coaching and officials’ costs
- Team training and preparation sessions
Further information regarding flight details, training schedules, and selection processes will be released following the close of EOIs.

TRAVEL PROGRAM – TERMS & CONDITIONS
• A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure a position in the team.
• Team numbers are strictly limited to 14 players maximum.
• A maximum of 2 Goal Keepers will be accepted per team.
• Positions will be offered on a first in, best dressed basis upon receipt of deposit payment (unless multiple teams in which case teams will be by selection)
• Final team selections and confirmed player names will be released on 31 July 2026.
• Final balance payments are due no later than 31 August 2026.
REFUND POLICY
• All refunds will be assessed on a case by case basis. (Less any non recoverable expenses)
• If a player withdraws and their position is successfully filled by another athlete, the withdrawn player will receive a refund, less any unrecoverable administration, booking, or supplier costs already incurred.
• If a replacement player cannot be found, refunds will be assessed in accordance with recoverable costs under Australian Consumer Law and supplier terms and conditions.
• Any flights, accommodation, uniforms, tournament fees, or supplier bookings already paid on behalf of the athlete and unable to be recovered may be deducted from any refund amount.
• Refund requests must be made in writing.
By submitting a deposit, families acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.
